Featuring detailed graphics from Pan Am’s classic “Globe” tail scheme.
Hand-crafted from wood, this Pan Am Globe Logo Tail Display features detailed graphics that reflect the airline’s classic “Globe” tail scheme. Created by Edward Larrabee Barnes and Charles Forberg as part of Pan Am’s introductory livery, the recognizable Pan Am “Globe” tail design was present from their first flights in 1958 to the last tours of 1991. Faithfully replicating the swooping shapes of Boeing and Airbus tails from the same era, each tail has a glossy exterior finish. Attaches to an included stained wooden base with two pegs and rests on four felt feet. Measures 9.5”h x 9”l x 2”w when complete.
