Sporty’s E6B iPhone/iPad Aviation App

The best-selling E6B app for iPad and iPhone is now even better!

The latest version of Sporty’s best-selling Electronic E6B available is for iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch. This powerful app includes all the features of the traditional E6B, including 27 aviation functions, 22 conversions, and complete timer features. This new version of the app takes all the core functions of the original E6B app and adds improved functionality and a redesigned interface.

The app’s user-friendly design makes calculations fast and easy. Each function can be selected from a plain English list, and the app prompts the user for information as it goes. Plus, entries are saved from previous calculations, so there’s no need to re-enter data.

Sporty’s E6B app makes quick work of preflight, navigational, or fuel problems, and is a favorite of student pilots. But it also includes a number of features that are useful for experienced pilots, like Top of Descent, Specific Range and Planned Mach #. A full weight and balance function allows you to save aircraft profiles and make quick gross weight and center of gravity calculations.

The timer can be set to count up or count down, so it is perfect for timing approaches, holds or switching fuel tanks. There is also a clock function that shows Home, Local and Zulu time.
