Tow On Remove Before Flight Cup

“Remove Before Flight” reminder prevents costly towing accidents

Tow bars and expensive tug machines are fantastic pieces of equipment until they aren’t. With our HQ on an airport, we have seen many accidents (expensive) that could have been easily avoided if the pilot simply removed the towbar or tug prior to starting their engine.

Avoid costly mistakes on the ramp with the “Tow On” Flight Cup. When you install your tow bar or tug onto your aircraft for movement, place the Tow On device over the control wheel or sidestick in your aircraft. When you remove your tow bar or tug from the aircraft, store the device with the tow bar or simply hang it from your tug. The Tow On device serves as a reminder to remove all towing equipment before starting the engine, helping to ensure the propeller area is clear of any ground handling equipment that could be struck prior to flight. Before startup, you’ll spot the bright “Remove Before Flight” message, reminding you to disconnect your tow bar or tug. Includes an adjustable elastic cord for a secure fit on most yokes or handles.

A simple, affordable tool that could potentially save thousands.
